How to Find Your Microsoft Teams Channel ID in 3 easy Steps
To find your MS Teams channel ID we just follow the simple 3-step process below to get the link to your Teams Channel ID.
Step 1: Navigate to the channel for which you want to find the Channel ID
First, click on the Teams icon in the left side bar of Microsoft Teams, then select a Team to open up the channels that are part of that team.
Step 2: Next, click on the (...) three horizontal dots to the right of the channel name
Next hover over the channel then select the 3 dots icon to the right of the channel to open the sub-menu for channel actions.
Step 3: Finally, select the 'Get link to channel' menu option
Select the icon for the Get link to channel in the submenu.
A popup with the link to your channel will appear that includes the channel id after the path that starts with /channel as you can see in the image below:
Click the Copy button in the popup and paste the link. It will look similar to URL below. The portion after channel/ in the url and before the next slash is your channel id.
