Add Custom Fields to your Live Chat Pre-Sales Page
You can easily add custom live chat fields to your pre-sales page right from your Live Chat settings page. First login to your account, then go to your Chat Settings.
For our Teams integration, go to the left side-bar in Microsoft Teams, choose Live Chat and then Chat Settings. From here, you can enable 2 custom fields for your needs. This allows you to collect any additional information you'd like from your website visitors so that your team will have the best information available when chatting with your customers.
Once you enable these fields, your visitors will see these custom fields when accessing your Live Chat. To make then required, just add an * in the placeholder text.
When you receive your chat requests, you'll then see this information on the inbound chat requests.
